1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, using our services, or accessing our website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our services. "You" refers to any individual or entity that accesses or uses the platform, whether as an invitation creator (couple) or a guest.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use our services. By using Timeless Vows, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

3. Our Services

Timeless Vows provides a digital platform for creating, customizing, and sharing wedding invitations. Our services include:

• Digital wedding invitation creation with customizable templates
• Guest list management and RSVP tracking
• Sharing invitations via links optimized for WhatsApp and other platforms
• Premium features available through paid plans

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our services at any time with reasonable notice.

4. User Accounts

When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the security of your password and account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the platform (photos, text, guest lists). By uploading content, you grant Timeless Vows a limited, non-exclusive license to:

• Store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide our services
• Generate preview images of your invitation for sharing on social media and messaging platforms

This license terminates when your content is deleted from our platform. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content, including photos and images. We do not claim ownership of your content.

6. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use our platform to:

• Upload illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or obscene content
• Impersonate another person or create invitations for fraudulent purposes
• Distribute spam, malware, or unauthorized commercial communications to guests
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users’ data
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from our platform without written permission
• Use the platform for any purpose other than creating and managing wedding invitations

7. Payments and Refunds

For paid features and premium plans:

• All prices are displayed in Tanzanian Shillings (TZS) unless otherwise stated
• Payment is processed securely through our third-party payment provider
• You agree to pay all fees associated with your selected plan
• Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of payment if the service has not been substantially used
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days’ notice to existing users

8. Intellectual Property

The Timeless Vows brand, logo, website design, invitation templates, and all original content on our platform are owned by Timeless Vows and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute our proprietary content without prior written consent. Invitation templates are licensed for personal use only and may not be resold or redistributed.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Tanzanian law:

• Timeless Vows is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access to our services
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our platform
• Our total liability for any claim related to our services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim
• We are not responsible for the actions of guests who receive your invitations or for any issues arising from wedding events themselves

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Timeless Vows, its founders, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third party’s rights.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement:

• You may delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us
• We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with notice where practical
• Upon termination, your data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy retention schedule
• Sections on Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law survive termination

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or our services shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on our platform at least 14 days before taking effect. The "Last Updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
